The pump removes air from the jar. A tight seal limits oxygen exposure between brews.

Choose a coffee in the app. Its jar sounds a buzzer, so you know which one to pick up.

YOUR COFFEE COMPANION
Track each coffee’s freshness, roast details and brew plan in one app.

The intended system uses pressure changes associated with CO₂ release to update an estimated 0–100% freshness level. A Weibull-based model combines degassing trends and roast profile to predict a brewing window. Planned alerts include 24 hours before predicted peak, completed vent cycles, manual-vent reminders and brewing milestones. These are guides to timing, not direct measurements of flavour.
Simple mode shows the essentials first. A Pro toggle reveals more detail; settings let you choose a default, and the app remembers your last selection. A guided tour explains freshness, brew dates, jar controls and reminders. Resting graphs use days on the horizontal axis. The current preview is English and browser-based.

Freshly roasted beans release CO₂, which affects how coffee extracts. Following that change helps estimate when your beans are ready to brew.
Illustrative only. This is a gas-release curve, not a measured freshness score or a universal brewing schedule.
As degassing slows, it adds a useful clue to the roast date and your tasting notes. Roast Peak aims to help you recognise a good time to start brewing.
Gas escaping from the grounds can influence wetting and extraction. Resting gives that release time to settle. How long depends on the roast and your brew method.
Research shows that roast level and roasting conditions affect degassing. Roast Peak aims to make your beans’ changing pattern easier to understand.
Degassing and staling are different processes. Oxygen exposure, storage and brewing still matter. Roast Peak’s planned freshness percentage is a model estimate using trends and roast context; a raw CO₂ reading alone cannot measure taste.

We’re designing Roast Peak with award-winning roasters and coffee-brewing champions—to bring the same care to brew timing that goes into every roast.
Here’s what we know so far.
Pressure changes associated with CO₂ release, plus roast details, help estimate your beans’ brewing window. Predictions are being validated and should be used alongside your roaster’s advice and your taste.
Active degassing is designed to help CO₂ leave the beans sooner. Vacuum-sealed storage then limits oxygen exposure between brews. Timing and storage benefits are being tested.
Yes. Each coffee has its own freshness timeline. Select a coffee and tap Identify jar: its built-in buzzer tells you which jar to pick up. The app preview uses sample data and sound on your phone or computer.
Opening changes the gas inside. After resealing, the system needs a new measurement interval to follow your beans’ progress.
